The orange roughy fishery was the greatest fishing boom and bust in Australian fishing hist ory, but in just six years - 1986 to 1992 - it was all over.  

Fortunes were made and kept and fortunes were made and lost. The stakes were high, as were the risks. It took place in Australia's roughest seas, from the Great Australian Bight to two hundred miles south of Tasmania. 

In this DVD we hear from twelve people who were intimately involved. Their stories are illustrated with archival footage and photos of the period.
